My experience while filing an RTI from mumbai to EPF office bandra east.

I tried filling an RTI for my EPF withdrawal request, which I had not received from past 2 years.

Download an RTI form (http://www.mahitiadhikar.org/rtiform.html) or write an application.

Need court fee stamp of Rs 10/- affixed to the form.

I have an EPF account with my previous employer <company name> Company based in Mumbai. I applied for withdrawal of my EPF account on DD/MM/YYYY, but I have not received my EPF money for <mention the period>. I would like to know the following things.

1. Have you received my application for withdrawal of PF Account - __________________________

If answer is yes, please mention date of receipt of application(s) and its current status.

2. Please let me know the current balance in my account and if the interest is accruing

3. When will my PF money be deposited to my bank account?

4. To know the status of a PF account in Mumbai, please mention the contact details of concerned person/office with addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.

5. Please provide details of First Appellate Authority under RTI Act 2005 with detailed postal and email address etc. for this RTI application.
